Winter Solstice is upon us. Great things are happening on this special day. Something magical happens in the sky. The path of the sun moves directly over the Tropic of Capricorn.

Humans have seemingly observed the Winter Solstice for many years, with the first recorded signs starting near the end of the Stone Age. These signs appear in the form of monuments.

Winter Solstice has taken on spiritual significance in cultures worldwide with meditation and prayer to increase personal awareness.

In my home, we celebrate by gathering with loved ones, sharing food and drink, bringing joy, and taking time for personal reflection. I journal about this year and what’s to come next year. I share my reflections with loved ones. It’s a very special day.
